Arcata Arts Institute's focus area will be "Creating Community Connections."  They will guide you through a brainstorming session with a handout to help figure out what community partnerships would be a good place to start for them.  Strong content areas are visual and media arts and theatre.  A short documentary about a whole school collaborative project will be shown as well.

Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts is located in Orange County.  The staff presentation will focus on "Pathway Development and Industry Partnerships," and will include an overview of the program and the 4 AME pathways; the newly added Dance sub-pathway and how it was developed; the recent APPLE Newsroom feature on the Performing Arts Pathway; and the importance of their Industry Partnerships.  The lead presenter is Stacy Robison.
